Founders note. 

At Lidy Mac, we believe that not placing anything in your baby's crib, other than your baby, is the safest way to ensure against any soft bedding hazards. But, for those families who choose to include a bumper guard in their nursery design, (and we realize many families do) we have created a safer, more thoughtful alternative, the Bumpaire.
 
Our design began with the guidelines and concerns raised by two respected organizations, The American Academy of Pediatrics and The Consumer Product Safety Commission. Each creative patented feature directly addresses the recognized flaws in the traditionally designed bumper guard.
